Bob Conners Memorial Blog

Welcome to the Bob Conners Memorial Blog.

The purpose of this blog is to celebrate Bob's life. In some cultures it is said that a person does not die so long as someone still remembers them. This blog is a place for readers to share their memories of the time and experiences they had with Bob. He was a husband, father, grandfather, uncle and good friend to many. We all loved you and you will be deeply missed.

That dog!

Ok, I don't remember what they called their little fiery fur ball of a dog, but I do remember he became a member of their family. Every time we visited he would come flying up to the window and greet us with a barrage of barks and jumps. Did I say jumps? Yes, this dog could jump. He would go flying from the floor to the couch with precarious speed. What was his/her name again? Naturally, he had to be on the water!

Bob Conners - the early years.

I like this picture. I'm not sure exactly why. I guess it just captures his friendly and approachable personality.

Water Skiing

Here we see the burly Prevost family after a day of water skiing. Uncle Bob taught the whole family how to ski after learning how from a book.

Bob the fisherman

I will always remember my Godfather who taught me how to fish and water ski.
It wasn't really about catching fish, which he was good at but more about how to live life. He shared with me his love of the water and excitement about living. For this I will always be grateful.
